If you are renewing your driver’s license in Kentucky, a vision screening is now part of the process. This test is easy and free, and it can be completed during an in-person license renewal at any KYTC Driver Licensing Regional Office.
We are happy to complete the Kentucky Driver’s License Vision Form during your next in-person exam. We will ask if you want this completed during your registration at our lobby kiosk. But to be certain, just mention it again to us during your visit here. In-person, during your exam, we offer this as a no-charge courtesy.
For those patients who want us to use the results of an exam you’ve had with us in the past 12 months, we can complete the required form and send it to you. It is our pleasure to assist you. Our fee is $30.
Just a quick heads up: the form we complete is valid for 12 months, so make sure your license renewal falls within that timeframe to avoid needing a new one.
