About Jennifer
Jennifer Harner is the Associate Administrator of The Eye Care Institute. Jennifer has been with the practice since 2006 when she relocated to Louisville from her home state of Arkansas. Jennifer has worked in eyecare since 2000. During her eyecare career, Jennifer has worked in various departments including the front office, optical, and billing, and for the last 16 years in management and administration. Jennifer is responsible for assisting the practice administrator with practice operations, finances, IT, and human resources. She also oversees the billing department, where in addition to managing accounts receivable, she strives to ensure that the staff of the practice is educated on ever-changing insurance policies and well-equipped to assist patients in understanding their coverage.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting as well as her MBA in healthcare administration. Additionally, Jennifer is a Certified Ophthalmic Executive.
When not at work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. Jennifer is a self-proclaimed pop culture, true crime, and board game nerd. She enjoys watching the latest buzzworthy TV shows and documentaries, listening to true crime podcasts, and playing card and board games with her family.
