Careers
Do you think you have what it takes?
At The Eye Care Institute, we create an "experience," not just a medical visit.
The Eye Care Institute believes the patient (customer) is almost always right! We attempt to hire team members with similar customer oriented beliefs.
We have developed a patient-service guide, called "Getting to Yes at The Eye Care Institute" and a series of employee education articles so that all staff, regardless of role, have, at minimum, a working knowledge of the eye questions and concerns our patients express most often. This focus on staff education allows us to give our patients an outstanding patient experience, not just a medical office visit.
We encourage all staff to become certified, or licensed, in a discipline related to their job function with us. Of course, we pay all costs associated with obtaining and renewing these certifications.
If this seems like the sort of organization where you would like to enjoy a career, please send us your resume by email or traditional mail.
We always keep a list of candidates for openings in these areas:
Patient Registration and Discharge
Patient Concierge
Ophthalmic Assistant, Certified
Optician, Licensed
Accounts Receivable, Medical
Although healthcare experience is useful, we place the highest interview rankings on candidates whose resumes and cover letters describe helping the public, love of humanity and being good citizens. Education and proper grammar usage are equally weighted as second decision factors during the interview selection process.
Further, The Eye Care Institute does not offer jobs. We only believe in long-term careers. So, if you would like to be considered for a career with our organization, please send us your resume and compelling customer service oriented cover letter to:
