The Eye Care Institute has received a Certificate of Superior Performance from Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
In the 2008 analysis of financial performance of medical practices, The Eye Care Institute has been nationally recognized for outstanding performance in the areas of Accounts Receivable and Collections. MGMA, which issued the award, is the primary national trade organization for the management of medical practices.
Mark Prussian, CEO of The Eye Care Institute, said we are honored to receive this award and grateful to our staff for their hard work. He further continued we attempt to create patient payment polices that are respectful to our patients and financially reasonable. Our staff works hard to help our patients understand and comply with our policies. This allows us to remain a successful medical practice, thereby allowing us to provide high quality medical and surgical care to our patients, along with allowing us to be a great place to work.
The Eye Care Institute was recognized for a similar award during 2003. There are over 50,000 private medical group practices in the United States. The Eye Care Institute was recognized as one of eight medical practices in Kentucky receiving a Success award.
