John C. Meyer, MD is featured in the current issue of Newsweek magazine as one of 15 Leaders in Laser Eye Surgery.
Dr Meyer is a LASIK, vision correction, and cornea transplant specialist at The Eye Care Institute. Dr Meyer has performed over 5,000 laser vision correction procedures. As a cornea fellow at Emory University, he was one of the first doctors in the US to be able to experiment with the excimer laser (used in LASIK) before it received FDA approval. Dr Meyer sees patients at our Story Avenue office and performs LASIK using our AMO VISX S4 laser with Iris Registration.
Dr Meyer is the only doctor located in either Kentucky or Indiana to be featured in the edition of Newsweek. The staff and doctors of The Eye Care Institute congratulate Dr. Meyer for receiving this recognition.
