We thought it would be fun to do something a little different for the November/December issue. We sponsored a favorite holiday recipe contest among the staff and voted on the top two winners.

Carolyn Miles, one of the technicians who assist the doctors with our patients, had the winning recipe with her World Famous Bean and Sausage Casserole. Carolyn said she got the recipe from the mother of a friend but after she started making it, friends and family ask her to bring it to gatherings.

Susan Dudley, our refractive coordinator, was the second place winner with her Buffalo Chicken Dip. Susan works with our LASIK patients and also assists in our marketing efforts. She said that she got the recipe from a friend’s mother and made some of her own changes. “It’s very good for tailgates, snacking and even wedding showers. The dip is very simple to make and a great appetizer,” she said.
